The “Plate Only” option works with the Shinny name brand embossers and won’t work with the inferior nobrand silver ones that you see around.

I initially was not going to write a review for this product because when it arrived, I had set it up and tested it on a book and it did not come great. I was a little disappointed to begin with so I left it aside. A couple months later I found it while cleaning and thought I’d try it again on a book. That was when I noticed I had set it up wrong, I quickly fixed my mistake and loved the result. I am currently working my way through my book collection embossing away. Thank you very much for this, it is amazing!
