Since 2020, Sign & Seal has taken a firm stance on the quality and safety of the products we sell. For years, that meant we refused to sell wax seal beads.

We tested countless options, but none met our standards. Many had unpleasant odours, gave us headaches, or simply didn’t produce a great wax seal. We chose to walk away rather than sell a product we didn’t believe in.

After extensive sourcing and testing, we’re finally proud to offer wax seal beads that meet our expectations. They melt beautifully, have no harsh odour, and create smooth, creamy seals.

Sealing Wax Bead Details

• Minimum 30g of wax per pack
• Approximately 23 neat seals per pack
• Allow around 1.3g of wax per seal
• High-quality sealing wax with a smooth, creamy finish
• Prefer a more organic, free-flowing seal? Simply allow a little extra wax per seal.

How Much Sealing Wax Do I Need?

Multiply the number of seals you need by 1.3g.

For example: 40 seals × 1.3g = 52g of wax, so you’ll need 2 packs.

If you prefer larger, free-flowing wax seals or would like some extra wax for practising, we recommend adding an extra pack.

Important Safety Note

Wax sealing is a creative and enjoyable process, but it does involve heat and, depending on your melting method, an open flame.

Every Sign & Seal wax melt lantern includes a protective silicone mat to help protect the surface beneath your lantern.

Always keep sealing wax and hot wax out of reach of children and pets. Use appropriate care around hot wax, melting equipment and open flames, and ensure children are supervised by an adult.
